Merlin Place
Merlin Place sits in the heart of the Science district of Cambridge. We were comissioned to take some aerial photographs of the site which were usedNestled in the vibrant Science district of Cambridge, Merlin Placein occupies a central location that pulsates with innovation and discovery. Recently, we were tasked with capturing aerial photographs of the site, which would serve as a backdrop for integrating the new site architecture. This project presented a unique challenge as the site fell within the No-Fly Zone (NFZ) regulated by Cambridge airport. Gaining permission to fly in this restricted airspace required careful navigation of regulatory protocols. Leveraging our qualifications as certified drone pilots, we successfully obtained the necessary permissions. With meticulous planning and adherence to aviation regulations, we executed a successful aerial shoot, capturing stunning imagery that showcased the site's potential. Our aerial photographs not only provided a comprehensive view of Merlin Placein but also seamlessly integrated the proposed architecture, offering a compelling visualization of the future development. as a background to add in the new site architecture. For this one we had to gain permission from Cambridge airport as the site fell within the NFZ. This was gained through our qualifications as a drone pilot and a succefful shoot was completed.
